The Wandering Blonde is a female-focused travel blog that aims to entertain, encourage, and inspire likeminded travelers.
My perspective is that of the “normal” millennial woman; I’m not a digital nomad, I’m not a full-time traveler, and I’m not a luxury traveler.
I have a job, a house, a husband, and a dog…as well as an insatiable desire to see the world. And if I can achieve my wildest travel dreams by balancing a “normal” lifestyle with an adventurous spirit, so can anyone else.
This is what I hope to bring to the table as a travel storyteller; my vision for this blog is to inspire others to see more of the world, without feeling required to give up the comforts of home in the process.
More than 20,000 unique, highly targeted readers visit The Wandering Blonde each month.
Approximately 50% of readers are American, 73% are female, and 55% are between the ages of 25-34.
In other words, readers of The Wandering Blonde travel blog are young women much like myself!
They’re hardworking and well-traveled with money to spend, but are choosey about their destinations and accommodations. They want to see beautiful places and iconic sights, but they also crave original adventures and authenticity.
My readers are always looking for up-and-coming locations (domestic and international), as well as unique places to stay. They tend to skew towards the middle of the “budget / luxury” spectrum, and enjoy a mixture of local experiences (dining, drinking, public parks, casual sightseeing) and must-see attractions.

Want your destination, hotel, or tour to rank at the top of Google?
One unique skill that I bring to the table is my background in SEO copywriting. My full-time career is actually not running this blog; it’s freelance copywriting. I have worked with dozens of businesses to optimize their website content and create compelling blog posts that drive real traffic.
What does this mean for your brand? Although first-page rankings are never guaranteed, I do have a proven track record of sending my blog posts to the top of the Google search results page…including that coveted “position zero” spot (i.e. featured snippets, or the content that appears ABOVE the actual search results).
I build my content around keywords that travelers are actually searching for, like “Big Sur travel guide” and “Moorea itinerary.” Many travelers begin planning their trip with these type of searches; my goal is to make sure they discover my content during that process.
This strategic approach to creating guides and itineraries has allowed me to outrank HUGE competitor websites like TripAdvisor, Travel + Leisure, and U.S. News Travel.
